Charlotte, N.C., September 30, 2009 - When the FFTA Fall Conference & Exhibition opens this weekend in Cincinnati, OH, experts from global anilox leader Harper Corporation will be on hand to answer questions and review the latest in flexographic technology.
Mike Huey (Harper GraphicSolutions™) and Neil Surber (Harper Corporation of America) will staff a tabletop exhibit and brief visitors on how Harper's innovative flexographic tools and technology can improve their press efficiency, process consistency and bottom lines.
"Color in the Crosshairs: Taking Aim at Repeatable & Predictable Color" is the theme of the fall FFTA get-together. The conference is a must-see for many flexo professionals, among them packaging buyers, prepress managers, press supervisors, production and quality control mangers, graphic designers, art directors and photographers.
The conference agenda features a CPC/print buyer panel discussion at representatives of leading consumer product companies will discuss their expectations of the color management workflow and what role vendors can play.
A number of "how to" demonstrations are planned - including a step-by-step demonstration on major process color calibration techniques as outlined in the new FIRST 4.0. Also, attendees are invited to a free color theory measurement tutorial.
