Charlotte, NC, April 26, 2010 – Representatives from global anilox supplier Harper Corporation of America will welcome visitors and answer questions at Booths 503 and 505 next week during INFO*FLEX in Las Vegas. The event is sponsored by the Flexographic Technical Association.
Scheduled for May 3-4, INFO*FLEX has grown the past three decades into one of the most recognized, best attended networking opportunities in North America for those doing business in the package printing and in-line converting industry.
At the show, Harper experts will brief visitors on the company’s newest anilox roll products and increased capabilities. On display will be a Phantom QD™, a patent pending proofing system, a new Ultra Lightweight Anilox Sleeve -- the lightest now available – and Harper’s Super Echo Alloy Layer (SEAL) Bond that increases durability of aluminum base rolls in corrosive environments.
Examples of increased capability include four new machines with advanced laser technology and three new plasma units offering the latest in thermal spray technology.
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel is serving as host site for the exhibition and show. Event sponsors anticipate more than 160 of flexography’s leading suppliers will be on hand to discuss business trends, emerging technologies and other issues affecting flexo printing and converting companies.
As in years past, the event expects to draw a substantial collection of industry professionals, including executives/CEOs, package buyers and consumer product companies (CPCs), purchasing and marketing managers, pressroom, production and R&D staffers, technical experts and educators.
This year, the Monday luncheon, the concluding Tuesday night social event, a display of FTA’s Excellence in Flexography Award winners and a presentation by the winning Phoenix Challenge collegiate team will all take place on the show floor.
