Charlotte, North Carolina, November 30, 2011—Global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation is proud to announce that members of the Harper GraphicSolutions team have recently passed the exam to become FIRST (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications and Tolerances) Implementation Specialists.
The Implementation Specialist exam is the culmination of seven months of weekly lectures and tests. The exam itself is made up of 100 timed questions and five individual essay questions that test professionals on the skills they have learned during FIRST training.
Implementation Specialist certification is the highest level of certification offered by the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association. This degree of study requires professionals to exhibit their understanding of FIRST specifications, including: the achievement of optimal consistency and color and tone accuracy; the cultivation of clear communication with both internal and external team members; the development of workflow teams; the management of package and product development teams; the optimization of workflow productivity; the performance of print evaluations; the creation of documentation procedures; and the compliance of all elements of the workroom with FIRST methodology.
